2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information: name, email address, password, company name, job title.
  • Billing information: payment method details (processed via third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers).
  • Communications: messages you send us via contact forms, email, or support channels.
  • Profile data: preferences, settings, and configurations within the platform.

2.2 Information from Third-Party Ad Platforms

When you connect your advertising accounts, we receive data from those platforms on your behalf, including:

  • Facebook Ads / Meta: campaign data, ad sets, ads, spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, audience insights, account details.
  • TikTok Ads: campaign performance data, ad spend, impressions, clicks, video views, conversion events, account information, and advertising metrics made available through the TikTok Marketing API.
  • Google Ads: campaign data, keyword performance, spend, conversions, quality scores, account details.

This data is collected under the authorization you grant via OAuth and is subject to each platform's own privacy policies. Outage Manager acts as a data processor of this information on your behalf.

2.3 Usage Data

  • Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps, referrer URLs.
  • Device information: device type, operating system, screen resolution.
  • Feature usage patterns to improve our product.

2.4 Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Analytics cookies: understanding how users interact with our platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

4. TikTok Data Usage

Outage Manager integrates with the TikTok Marketing API. By connecting your TikTok Ads account, you authorize Outage Manager to:

  • Access your TikTok Ads account data including campaigns, ad groups, ads, and performance metrics.
  • Read and display advertising spend, impressions, clicks, and conversion data.
  • Retrieve account information for display within your Outage Manager dashboard.

Outage Manager uses TikTok data exclusively to provide the analytics and reporting features you request. We do not share TikTok data with third parties for advertising purposes. TikTok data is used in accordance with TikTok's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your data based on:

  • Contractual necessity: to fulfill our service agreement with you.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate, improve, and secure our platform.
  • Consent: for marketing communications (you can withdraw at any time).
  • Legal obligation: when required by law.

6. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

  • Service providers: cloud infrastructure (hosting, storage), payment processors, email delivery, analytics tools — only as necessary to provide our services.
  • Legal authorities: when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety.
  • Business transfers: if Outage Manager is acquired or merges, data may transfer to the new entity under equivalent protections.

All third-party service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us.

  • Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after account closure.
  • Ad platform performance data is retained for up to 24 months for historical analysis.
  • Log data is retained for 90 days.
  • You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 9).

  • TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit.
  • Encryption at rest for sensitive data.
